Edd the Duck is also a great fan of Kylie Minogue who popped in to visit him in the Broom Cupboard. It was during this appearance that she infamously became the first known Antipodean to swear live on British television, although many have followed since.[2]

Shooting was complicated by an early New York spring, which interfered with the bleak winter atmosphere that prevails throughout the film,[21] and by the difficulty of filming several cats, who, unlike dogs, ignore the desires of filmmakers. On the advice of an animal trainer, the Coens put out a casting call for an orange tabby cat, which is sufficiently common that several cats would be available to play one part. Individual cats were then selected for each scene based on what they were predisposed to do on their own.

Other achievements outside the realm of television include recognition by the State of California as Citizen Hero of the Year in 2001, and the equally notable accomplishment of out-eating wrestler King Kong Bundy in a cheesesteak sandwich-eating contest at Dominick's Kitchen while Bundy was guest starring on Married... with Children.

Less unusual and more "unusually over-detailled".

Music video[edit]
The video is set on a rainy afternoon in a park. Valerie Simpson exits a taxi in a park on a cloudy day, and escapes from a sudden downpour underneath a bridge. As she sings the opening of the song a cappella, she's joined by Nick Ashford, who joins in. As the video progresses, they're joined by others, including a cyclist in yellow spandex (who misses a great party), a gang of hoodlums who just want to sing, and several bongo players who are also trying to escape the downpour.[3]

From 2001 to 2006, Kiss offered for sale a custom-made coffin emblazoned with imagery of the band for $4500. On the Howard Stern radio show, Gene Simmons said of the casket, "This is the ultimate Kiss collectible. I love livin’, but this makes the alternative look pretty damn good."[8] The coffin is frequently cited as a prime example of just how extreme the band's quest for merchandising can be. Notable people to be buried in a Kiss Kasket include Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell.

According to load experienced on the electrical network, points were granted accordingly to each contestant.[1]

Donkey Burger (Chinese: 驴肉火烧; pinyin: lǘròu huǒshāo) is a kind of sandwich commonly eaten in Baoding, Hebei Province, China, where it is considered a local specialty,[1] as well as in other places in China. Chopped or shredded donkey meat is placed within a huǒshāo or shao bing, a roasted, semi-flaky bread pocket, and eaten as a snack or as part of a meal. The meat is often served cold, often with green pepper or cilantro leaves, in a warm huoshao. It is not a proper burger.

The movie received mixed reviews from critics, and was criticised in the United States for its lack of depth and excessive use of nuns for humour. Nuns on the Run currently holds a 47% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

There has been discussion stating that the first year "Sea-Wees" had heads from a different mold than later dolls. This is untrue. The heads do not vary. It's the placement of features and the shape of the mouth that varies. The eyes were meant to be registered in the middle of the head sculpture and rest on the top of the cheek bones. During the second and third year, the dolls eyes were printed in a higher position on the face—sometimes so (unaturally high they are actually in the forehead!) and even some of the later series like Icy Gals and Bubble Ballet, the eyes were printed up -- This gives the face a longer look. When the eyes are printed where they should be towards the center of the face, the faces appear to be rounder. This was simply sloppy factory work that went unchecked. You can often find Sea-Wees (with one eye up a lot higher than the other—or the mouth printed off balance—be picky) when collecting and ask to see good pics from the seller before you buy or bid on a doll.

i have a new favorite:

The perhaps fictional paper presents this analytic paradigm as an extension of previously known concepts. Since it was not an academic publication, it did not claim novelty, even though the approach introduced was new and novel. An excerpt from the fictional paper reads:

The 1972 paper is ignored, because there is not any evidence that it was actually published and may be a fictional creation.

The killer of the film is motivated by sexual frustration.[1] The character is intentionally portrayed as a "creep", as often called in the film. The intend was to portray the characters in a way that the audience will feel no empathy for him. The type of villain an audience wants to see go down.[1]

The film features both violence, and "gratuitous nudity". It combines the two by having victims killed while naked or partially undressed.[1]

From the article on the 14th century poet Hafez, a section titled "Bibliomancy"

Many Iranians use Divan of Hafez for fortune telling. Iranian families usually have a Divan of Hafez in their house and when they get together during Nowruz or Yaldā open the Divan randomly and read the poem of that page. They believe that the poem on that page actually matches what happens to them in the future.[22]
