So obv. it can't be a coincidence that TC keeps ending up with really tall women. Is it an effort to try to make him look taller, vis a vis matching lifts, or could that just be his thing?

I'd like to think he's privately dressing them all up like his towering ideal, like James Stewart did in "Vertigo." Then he has them go out grocery shopping and stuff while he hangs back and spies on them.
