Kind of bizarre that that piece doesn't mention how he's become a persona non grata in the poetry world.

Just got Capital *and* The Manhattan Project! Fun!

I don't know anything about KG but Capital is extraordinary. I'm reading it straight through, don't know about the rap that you are supposed to just dip into it. Although early on he attributes an Edwin Denby quote to James Merrill which makes me a little suspicious. And too much Adam Gopnik.

A lot more people would appreciate his work if they didn't know anything about him

What's the beef? The dandy persona? Seems like he is hated by poets like Warhol was by painters, but I don't follow it.
