Trolls

For me it's unhealthy to get too enmeshed with ILX, as I'd get nowt done, and worry about stuff that i can't do anything about. I haven't really noticed any trolls except obvious crackpot , but I only read 1 in 5 threads anyway.

I'm making a conscious to decision to post less and not worry about *keeping up*, whilst (despite shoddy non-appearence this week) going to more ILX piss-ups. People and beer are better than poxy message boards.

Just to clarify that I'm *not* a troll I am the poster formerly known as Samantha, duh. During a ILE IM chat I latched on to the idea of just calling myself by a letter, ala Mr. Dastoor. I thought it was fancy.

i dont think i've ever been impersonated on ilx (negatively). i've been impersonated on usenet, however.

and some TROLL on ilm seems to think i'm schizophrenic anyway.

But seriously, Tom, I can't always post a lot either. And when I do, I occasionally enjoy goofing around (see above comment). But, from what I've seen, ILM/E thrives on the strange questions....as well as the serious ones.

I try to only post when I've got summat to say about a particular subject, but it's not easy to resist the pull when you are "surrounded" by talkers. In fact, that's what makes it fun.

Why not think of it this way: we outnumber the "trolls" 100 to 1.
