Alfred: George Gaynes had a pretty big part in Washington Behind Closed Doors, which I just finished the other day. He played Brewster Perry, one of Richard Monckton's (Nixon's) money guys. I kept waiting for him to look helplessly at someone and say, "Does Monckton know?"

I ordered a Dubonnet w/a twist b/c of Tootsie ten years ago. Gross.
However, on a trip to NYC in 2006 I hit the Russian Tea Room. It's smaller than I thought! I did order a double vodka, I think.

The Russian Tea Room closed at the location you see in Tootsie, then reopened some years later at the new place.
