sometimes i worry that i'm gonna be one of those goatse cake people who can't have any jokes are points of reference unless they appear on the internet.

Has anyone ever been to a party where, by the end, it just devolves into people gathering around a computer and playing their favorite youtubes? that bums me out so much.

It's actually W. Neil Berrett holding the cake in the picture. I'm kind of disappointed, I'd been hoping that the guy was from the cake shop and was delivering the cake, and that the words on it were more like "shove yer feckin' job, w***er!". Because if I were ever to resign by cake, that's what I'd do. I guess that it just goes to show that not everyone in the world is as misanthropic as I am obviously.

xp to Weiney I have been at those Youtube parties, ugh - Youtube should be closed on Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm to 3am.

I mean, a small dinner is one thing, but at a PARTY you should be drinking/dancing/making out/puking/passing out/getting molested by your so-called "friend"/galloping towards a tragic death/playing cards/etc

At my old house there was no smoking inside but people often gathered in the mudroom to smoke & exhale toward the open door, this was the room with the computers in it, hence the many nights where the parties devolved into Youtube parties :( I blame my roommate.

yah in my experience its more in a gathering type situation or when the party has dwindled to a gathering size
