Bobbins is a UK slang term for stuff that is not really that good http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bobbins. I remember the first thread was Electro House Bobbins which I have always assumed was a little tongue-in-cheek comment about the brashness and non-pure nature of that genre.

That Soulphiction one could do with being a little less wacky but I think Pampa Records might be my favourite label right now.
