are there any recent rts games that are worth checking out? really enjoyed age of empires ii/mythology, but i wasn't completely sold on the fast-paced starcraft style of gameplay

Planescape: Torment!

I've wanted to play that for years but not enough to bother with doing it in bootcamp, so yay!

Has to do with the universal access settings crap messing with the steam overlay.

That drove me crazy for a couple weeks! Pretty sure the upgrade to Yosemite did it.
Finally (fingers crossed) fixed it by closing Steam, removing it from Universal Access, adding it again as a brand new app from that window, and rebooting.

But I'll definitely try that command line fix if/when it happens again
