Hmm, Rabbit of Seville was my #1... did my ballot not get counted? I'll still watch the countdown, but will have to do my own tallying where everything cool moves up, like, twenty points.

Can't speak for silby, but I reckon it was counted; he doesn't list the number of first place votes, if that's your concern.

Phantasm one of the best Timm offerings imo, action set pieces are awesome, unexpectedly good romance angle, best motion adaptation of origin that has added bonus of having nothing to do with Year One. Plus, typically great Joker involvement. Operatic. May be my favorite Batfilm, full stop.

i guess this is also a good place to mention that the rabbi's cat is really really good and would've been way up on my ballot if i had seen it before this poll

again, Dumbo above Pinocchio is insane. Came out a year after and feels like a b team effort

It's not as good as Pinocchio, but it's a perfectly formed little film.

i like dumbo a lot more than pinnochio.

Dumbo is the single greatest Disney film ever, crows aside (or maybe not even aside; they seem to embody a certain running constant of -ism under Disney's surface).

I'd rather watch Dumbo. The only terrifying part is the drunk-sequence.

I can't believe those Linklater films placed that high. Crazy shit.

Waking Life was pretty cool to see as a college freshman or whatever, can't imagine it holding up at all. Some cool bits in the animation I guess? A Scanner Darkly was weeeeeak IMO, although I have to say I can't really remember anything about what happens in it, just left the theater thinking "meh."

Monsters, Inc., on the other hand, is just lovely.
