TUFF WEDDING

finally got around to hearing that tuff guy mix - a lot of my listening is at work so given it didn't stream from his site, i had to download it. it's really good - i'm a bit bored of the type of edit that seems to be so dominant now but there's a freshness about the stuff in that mix. it's like he is extending the grooves of the originals rather than picking an element and zoning in on it.

i had heard the amazing "want you back in my bed" one before but not any of the others.

yeah, it's got a good sense of movement and directionality without flying from one thing to another. i was going a little nuts in the kitchen when started into 'a lover's holiday.'

probably the mix I listened to most in 2012, I think.

listened to that rinse 21 yesterday. sorry to say the mixing is really shoddy in some places and the tracklist is too obvious. although the latter is not a major factor.

skimmed through the mix and amazingly couldn't find the supposedly shoddy transitions and actually they're all nice!
