"The idea of Mike's book," De Gli Antoni writes, "that through a fog of drugs he behaved a certain way, is a ruse, a construct/fabrication. I was there in his apartment taking his watered-down heroin with him.

The Jay Mohr episode is actually a good example of why I like WTF in general. I mean, it was nothing mindblowing, but I find it interesting when someone like Mohr is able to dig in a little and talk about why he thinks he comes across as a dick or arrogant. I mean, he didn't blame other people, he was pretty much able to fully acknowledge his part.

kinda weird that Maron didn't ask about Bobcat, since he talked shit about Mohr on WTF

Nikki is an American sitcom that aired on The WB from 2000 to 2002. Nikki was a starring vehicle for Nikki Cox, who had previously starred in another WB sitcom, Unhappily Ever After, which ran for five seasons. Looking to capitalize on Cox's popularity, Bruce Helford created a sitcom that featured Cox as the title character.

There's some funny bits in it, mostly near the beginning.

I finally listened to the Dylan Moran interview - pretty good! Typically, I got annoyed that Maron kept harping on the Catholic abuse thing - DUDE THEY DID THE SAME THING HERE IN THE STATES JESUS CHRIST LET IT GO but I thought Moran engaged with the questions really intelligently and he didn't seem as annoyed as I would have been in the same situation
anyway I just love hearing Moran talk at length so I was happy

oh I know, it just...the way he kept asking about it annoyed me. esp since Moran said he didn't grow up catholic and yet is being called on to act as emmissary for the entire catholic population :)

If Maron had any authenticity and integrity, his podcasts would be recorded on wire spools and sent to each individual listener via carrier pigeon.
