This was actually pretty awful but whenever I think about the kind of lovable weirdness that Japanese games used to provide (and don't any more), this is always the one that pops into my head. Rubbish gameplay, rubbish visuals, rubbish presentation, but a fun enough idea that none of those even mattered really. You had to bite a girl on the boob while she was alseep in the bath! When one of the humans spotted you and got angry and tried to kill you, you had to calm them down by bumping into specific pressure points around their bodies!

5. Front Mission 4 has exactly 100% no fantasy bullshit in it at all. If you ever wanted to play a square enix tactical take on a sort of masamune shirow mecha universe, it's pretty good.

6. Amnesia and orphans may be a cheap cliche but I'd play 1000 of those games before I'd try anything remotely resembling the aforementioned Xenosaga/Front Mission garbage ever again.

7. Sometimes the options are kind of useless, though, I mean they exist but what's the fucking point? This is why I hate Front Mission 4 SO MUCH.

Jak and Daxter 1 is basically Super Mario 64 with Crash Bandicoot's moveset.

I am playing through the Jak HD Collection right now, currently near the end of Jak II, and oh man, there were some seriously bad decisions made with this series.
