Funny, mine looks exactly like my Friendster profile. (Read: I am lazy.)

Wait, which is yours?

One perfect way to describe me is that i'm Happy all the time! It's like a diesease or something lol. Anyone who knows me will agree. Anywayz, I have my pilots licence now and I am building time by flying so I can get my next rating. If you ever want to go on a plane ride, or go somewhere special, I'll be more then happy to take you... see---> :D. When i'm not flying, I'm either at the gym or chilln with my friends. The people I like are good people. And if your a good person, then your my friend. And if your my friend... well you know who you are...

Whatever, that is totally you.

i saw an old friend on myspace the other day, everyone turns up on there, in the end

i saw an ex on myspace too, she has zero friends on it and is obviously using it to spy, unlike me, for example

i met a girl off myspace once. it was a strange experience

My profile is named Laurel, unsuprisingly, but www.myspace.com/Laurel yields a total stranger so I don't know what to suggest. I'm friends w/ Tokyo Rose, try connecting there? Anyway I never filled anything out, it's just for keeping-in-touch purposes.

Yes, Captain John is funny like that. He once promised to take off his pants at every Alphamales show...actually kept the resolution for a while.

I started a Myspace music profile last week, but then I decided to cancel my account in a fit of existential angst. I can still login, the profile is still there though, with the songs waiting to be processed still...will it always be that way? I should have let it be and not cancelled it.

kate, we'll work something out. i think i get mistaken for being in a bad mood, but it's because i'm squinty. bad eyesight. but then really, sometimes, i'm in a bad mood.

n/a (Nick A.), Wednesday, 9 November 2005 17:48 (eighteen years ago) link

This could very well be the case. It's more likely, however, that I was busy drinking one to five beers too many, lamenting that they weren't Prong and wondering when the rocking was going to be supplied.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Wednesday, 9 November 2005 17:48 (eighteen years ago) link

*coughs* And yours is...?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 9 November 2005 21:22 (eighteen years ago) link

I'm everywhere, Ned. Wherever you can look - wherever there's a blog that hasn't been updated in months, I'm there. Wherever there's an mp3 of some sorry-assed metal band, I've been there. You can see me in the way guys yell that someone's been pwned in the comments section. I'm there in the way chicks turn their heads and take their pictures with the flash off and their computer monitor on, and when people are accepting and declining invitations based solely on hAWT pIX and connections to other hAWT pIX - I'll be there, too, Ned.

This myspace thing has always been way off my radar. I dont think I get the point of it - it doesnt look like an actual journal thing like blogger or LJ, so whats the dealio?

Also Ned WTF - how come in Donut's comments thing you're like, spamming him with crazyness =)

News Corp paid $580m (£361m) for MySpace in 2005, but users and advertisers left the site for rival social sites like Facebook and Twitter.

The sale terms were not disclosed, but there were unconfirmed reports that price paid was as low as $35m.
