Why did no one tell me Correlations sounds like a prototype for The Division Bell?

glad I have these on MP3 but it is very frustrating that they remain out of print as CDs.

These are all great choices but - call me a philistine - I wish he'd broken up "begleitmusik" into discrete tracks. There are some beautiful pillowy floating drones in the middle but I don't always have the patience to find them inside the 25 minute piece (which, as far as I can tell, is pretty randomly assembled rather than being an actual suite of related tracks). I don't remember if there are others like this, should revisit, but that one sticks out

I much prefer his ambient work. I recently listened to the first 4 Ashra albums and made this very satisfying playlist:

Well I guess whoever is in charge of Gottsching’s estate has gotten their affairs in order because the major ART/solo/Ashra albums are on streaming sites now.
