also paris charles de gaulle airport maybe one of the worst i've been to. there appears to be no restaurant and i just paid 10 euros for a microwave meal.

o_O (ken c), Saturday, 24 January 2009 11:36 (fifteen years ago) link

and the hotel wanted to charge me 22 euros for a uk plug adaptor. like lol

o_O (ken c), Saturday, 24 January 2009 11:37 (fifteen years ago) link

matt p (Matt P), Saturday, 24 January 2009 11:37 (fifteen years ago) link

o_O (ken c), Saturday, 24 January 2009 11:38 (fifteen years ago) link

o_O (ken c), Saturday, 24 January 2009 11:38 (fifteen years ago) link

o_O (ken c), Saturday, 24 January 2009 11:40 (fifteen years ago) link

You mean "JE SUIS DANS UN AÉROPORT OMG!"

Or do the French use "OMD" for "oh mon dieu"?

o_O (ken c), Sunday, 8 February 2009 14:40 (fifteen years ago) link

now i feel guilty for still be on the internet. mmm maybe i should join the queue? it's moving rapidly

o_O (ken c), Sunday, 8 February 2009 14:41 (fifteen years ago) link

make them wait for you

Bob Six, Sunday, 8 February 2009 16:00 (fifteen years ago) link

A Changi they will remove your bags and leave without telling you if you try that.

Ed, Sunday, 8 February 2009 16:29 (fifteen years ago) link

Shocking abuse of authority, but not uncharacteristic for Singapore - that place makes you want to stick your chewing gum under your seat just to piss them off.

dude in orlando airport sat down at the table i was eating at, he eventually asked me what i was studying in school and after i told him poli sci he told me that he was essentially disappointed in obama bcuz instead of "doing his job saving the boys dying in iraq" he was "filling out a bracket". we had a good convo after that though

sunscreen is still a security no-no unless it's a teeny bottle, right?

Security nabbed me for taking a full tube of toothpaste, so I squirted it out into a baggie and got it thru.

denver is kind of a nice airport. free wireless, outlets everywhere, and finally a fucking Hudson News instead of some shit-ass imitator.

haha, once again in the Denver Airport. reasons why this is my favorite airport:

1) smoking lounges with one-drink minimums, so i have an excuse to get a bloody mary

2) the views from those smoking lounges (THE ROCKIES=AWESOME)

3) the cleanliness of the place

4) the reasons mentioned in my last post.

almost makes me want to see what Denver as a city is actually like...!

the table is the table, Tuesday, 5 May 2009 21:38 (fourteen years ago) link

oh also, if we talking security: the last time i flew, in april, i forgot that i had a miniature box-cutter in my carry-on. when i arrived at my destination and was searching for my smokes, my dad was like: WTF YOU TOOK THAT ON THE PLANE and i was like 'ya what's the big deal lol'

the table is the table, Tuesday, 5 May 2009 21:40 (fourteen years ago) link

denver airport is beautiful. i have virtually no interest in denver as a city, but i'm always agreeable to a layover at its airport.

barcelona - beautiful city; everyone who goes to its airport and those who work there = fucking retarded. waited 1 hr to get through a queue of 6 people in the "fast bag drop" queue. fucking hell. then when i got there it took 5 seconds. retards

The New Beautiful South's New Bassist (King Boy Pato), Saturday, 27 June 2009 11:00 (fourteen years ago) link

I was in an airport yesterday! Unfortunately I couldn't post from there (phone not fancy enough) and also I was only there for about 30 mins, the time it took to find out my flight was cancelled and get resched for today.

I will be in an airport again in a few hours. Hope for better luck.

But not someone who should be dead anyway (Laurel), Saturday, 27 June 2009 15:30 (fourteen years ago) link

oh my good lord. Århus Tirstrup airport is a complete(ly brilliant) joke! It makes Milton Keynes Coachway look like the SECC

Jfk, with a 'seat request', not hopeful.

Mornington Crescent (Ed), Wednesday, 29 July 2009 01:50 (fourteen years ago) link

Aghagahagah, so the plane I don't necessarily have a seat on has 'maintenance issues'. I should have gone with my instincts and drunk another dirty martini (it was a very dirty dirty martini, all gin and salty olive juice).

Mornington Crescent (Ed), Wednesday, 29 July 2009 02:06 (fourteen years ago) link

New plane, new delay, still no guranteed seat. I hate delta.
