I don't think it's horrible Taylor Swift's doing this type of thing per se, just ironic cuz she always seemed like someone who couldn't wait to grow up.

anyway the thing that this song reminds me of is "my life would suck without you", i think you all remember how i felt about that, it's not quite that mediocre and i enjoy it BUT.

it's that clumsy lyrical phrasing in the chorus. basic.

i was just thinking how every first single she's had is worse than the last. and like yeah her debut song is still her very best but it's such an all-time pinnacle of music that I guess it's not too depressing that nothing else can really compare (the vast majority of all her other stuff is still a++ good).

So what? I didn't get it with the "CR Jepsen is 26, too old for this shii" argument and I don't get it with Avril either. Most women I know are chin-stroking think pieces in their early 20s, and raving horn-dogs in their 30s. I mean, this whole "she's too old for this" is male gaze talking, if I may say so in the gentlest of terms

Yeah, I was sorta joking in re avril and her music and pop music in general. As long as you're striving for excellence, ya know. But it would be sorta cool if she got rid of raccoon eyes for 2013.

I don't like "White Horse" much but "Back To Decemeber" is great.

I'm in the minority, I guess: I dislike not so much the indie line as the bad acting she puts into saying the line. It's like a kid wearing a big black mustache.

It's like that moment in Talking Heads' "Wild Wild Life" video when the camera zooms into David Byrne's face for the only time so that no one can doubt it's ol' David mugging in a mustache.

51-year-old George Boedecker, one of the three men who founded the controversial footwear company Crocs, was arrested by Boulder Police officers yesterday and charged with driving under the influence after he was found passed out in his Porsche.

Boedecker initially tried to pin the blame on singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, whom he claimed was his girlfriend.

Per the incident report, Boedecker said Swift was in the driver's seat, but had run off during an altercation. Asked by the cops where Swift was now, Boedecker pointed towards a nearby yard and responded, "Nashville."

Swift — "a really fucking famous singer" according to Boedecker — was "batshit crazy," the foam clog tycoon said.

Boedecker continued to be extremely inimical toward the officers, telling them to "go fuck yourselves in the ass" and "fucking die." In a last-ditch effort to wiggle his way out of the collar, Boedecker, a deep-pocketed benefactor and philanthropist, attempted to throw some weight around, telling the officers he "couldn't believe we were doing this after all he had done for this city."

The braggadocio proved pointless, as Boedecker was ultimately booked into Boulder County jail. The Smoking Gun notes that he was wearing flip flops at the time.
