Switch 3 and 4 and that's exactly how I thought this would play out, I figured only a few of you would be unashamed to vote for "Bad is Bad"

okay so what came first, "Finally Found a Home" or "Owner of a Lonely Heart"??
― frogbs, Monday, 23 July 2012 21:06 (eleven years ago) link
Actually I'd say on the self-titled News LP, the best new wave/fake-punk song by far -- nothing else even comes close, though I like the two side-openers -- would be "Who Cares?" Definitely not as much memorable stuff on that album as on Picture This or Sports though.

Wait, I just remembered this album contains a moment where Huey almost says "ass" and instead just pauses, I hereby award this album no stars
― frogbs, Wednesday, 12 September 2012 21:11 (eleven years ago) link
got a mint vinyl copy of this for £1 today. it really is a great album, though one whose cultural memory is kept on life support solely by American Psycho.
"Heart and Soul" is the crowning achievement here and it's a fabulous slice of pop-rock.

“The Heart is Rock n’ Roll” is marked “Explicit” by Spotify. Is there a secret comment about Cleveland I’m unaware of?

from Wikipedia:
Weather is the tenth studio album by American rock band Huey Lewis and the News, released on February 14, 2020, by New Hulex under license to BMG Rights Management.
The album consists of songs recorded before Lewis' 2018 hearing loss from Ménière's disease. Seven tracks had been completed before work on the album was indefinitely halted, and the band eventually decided to release the record as is.

I think what would be funny is if you titled an album Jorts and reproduced this exact cover but with everyone wearing jorts. Instead of Huey Lewis holding his jacket over his shoulder it would be a pair of jorts. Huey Lewis himself would probably think it was the funniest thing he's ever seen
