Saucerful of Secrets vs. Movement

me and ILX are at odds over new order. it's a well documented saga :)

"Saucerful Of Secrets" is ace. "Movement" also a good album, but still not in the same league.

new order had some joy division-era songs on movement.

I did have Movement, but didn't get any of it (not being a JD fan), although I did 'get' the single(s)...

Saucer, I like the Syd tracks, but I cannae remember any of the rest of it.

Still, Youtube did(does?) provide access to the least likely video ever, the one for "Jug band blues"...

my bad -- you're right. i forgot that "ceremony" and "in a lonely place" aren't on movement.

I was listening to Saucerful today, and kind of thinking the same thing...SoS/Umagumma/Atom Heart Mother is kind of their proto-Krautrock period isn't it?
