spent wednesday and saturday in mpls, was v v v happy & content to go to a mn stars fc game, eat at bryant-lake bowl, shop at extreme noise & cheapo and to have new experiences at canterbury park & buster's on 28th

They have the sake-infused Crispin cider there now, but it's $15 for a 22 oz. bottle. No thx.

Love Buster's. Lake Inn was a 3.2 joint, wasn't it? Wish I could GIS the old signage, and wish they would have kept that, but everything else is a huge improvement imo.

No, I found that. Prior to that the building was dark green with a huge script-font sign, and wrought iron near the door that looked like champagne bubbles.

Ah, that was the only Lake Inn I knew. Missed its earlier, awesomer dive version.

haha yeah ppl in the Twin Cities generally love it there except for March/April when everyone is completely done with cold fatigue and just wants summer to happen

Really, there's a ton to do in Minneapolis, no doubt. Weather aside, it's an ideal pocket-sized metropolis.
