I like the fact that the members of Lusk played different instruments on practically every song, btw. 'membramophones', wtf?

I've played it loud, I've played it quiet. I've played it stoned, I've played it straight. I have even, as grimly fiendish suggests upthread, had a guy come over and tune my ears, heart and soul, but maybe because I wouldn't let him near my balls, this album remains duller than shit for me. Sorry.

I kinda understand the Ride comparisons more now - but more in the sense of "this is the way Ride *should* have gone instead of turning into Oasis Lite".

I really like the rarities comp a lot, "Don't Dream It" is one of the best things he's recorded as Jesu.

i dunno, i've listened to my rarities comp. once through and it came across as kinda underdeveloped.

I think the rarities comp is the only thing I don't have... Is it worth it/still available?

man, this jarboe/broadrick thing is shit. after the first couple of tracks it's just adult contemporary goth metal and sinister weather channel music. ugh.

jarboe has some good synth sounds, though. shame about her singing.

I liked the Jarboe album! You're right that it does go downhill after the first couple tracks, but "sinister weather channel music" is a pretty heavy claim.
