I think I checked that bus before, 1:30am arrival time not good. I'll just kidnap a retired Iowa couple at the baseball convention.

What day does the convention end?

Sunday, but my plan is to leave Monday the 2nd.

I hesitate to commit to anything because I'm not sure of plans, yet, but if I come to mpls that weekend I could conceivably get you to at least Des Moines.

Thanks, but I may make alternate plans and go to Chicago by way of Madison. Or just spend 11 hrs on Greyhound.

OK, all booked, and I even got a price dip that lets me fly to Quad Cities.

Sunday will probably be a culture day, Walker and whatever. I should be sorta free a couple other eves too.

okay, so nighttime-only tickets to the park are $20, that's doable.

Also, I'm at a Best Western in Shakopee, and they have frickin' pachinko machines in here, operational, only without any balls to play pachinko with.

No problem. I know this is the kiddie ride-only area of the park, but I love Peanuts to death and wandering around there would probably be fair more fulfulling than Disneyland, barring their two differing levels of park- and production design.

Camp Snoopy has been replaced by Nickelodeon Universe, where you're greeted by a creepy bronze Spongebob at the entrance.

I am not drinking way into the night, I'm flying to Quad Cities Monday morning.

Well, it's a 3.5 hour drive for me, I'd rather have a couple drinks and chill and drive back in the morning!

I have to work really late on Satuday, so Sunday really is the best option unless maybe we're talking Friday night.
