When I was in college (Illinois State) Winger played our basketball shed - when they were done with the show, Kip made his way to 'sorority row' where he picked one (Tri sigs) and went in with a polaroid - orgy madness ensued with him gettin' hummers and groupsex with the house whilst the young maidens took pix with the instamatic. Those pix made their way around campus for a few weeks - truly disgusting. One girl in the house brought 'em into pizza place where we worked and delivery guys would stuff one pict in with outgoing pies - what a surprise in every box.

Kip Winger is a assuredly many, many things - cheese monkey, ass clown, ballerina, doofus, embarrassment, douchebag -- but supermegastar does not apply.

I remember an interview with Reb Beach (who I guess was the guitarist, thought the name doesn't sound that familiar to me) in which he described the recording process. When it came time to record the solo, Beach stated that as the process was beginning, Kip would be 'jumping up and down in the studio' and would be saying 'Now Reb, you're going to play the most awesome solo in the history of rock now, right? OK, here we go, here we go...'

Kip Winger played for Alice Cooper for a while, although not on any of the Coop's decent albums.
