What is your current city?
― Jeff, Saturday, 12 May 2012 00:42 (1 year ago) Permalink
l.a.: warm weather, natural beauty, great film/music/art events to choose from every day, food from most cultures if not every culture (would trade one of our many taco trucks for a sit-down ukrainian dive like they have in NYC), your choice of compact urban sensorium or suburban picket fences (plenty of both). public transit and pizza are both improving here.

Zacata, It's helpful to know more about the customer to which one would sell a city. Where have you lived? Where do you currently live? Be as vague or detailed as you want.

Actually, here's the most badass thing that's ever happened here.
Arlington proper:pros - cheap, fast access to Fort Worth or Dallascons - 1960s-70s middle-class suburb that's grown to 400k people, no mass transit, hot as balls
Fort Worth:pros - relatively cheap, a number of older areas that could be redeveloped into something interesting, a few good clubs for live music, impossible to get lost in, not Dallascons - still a lot of conservative dickbags running things, hot as balls, TCU students
