His producer credits on feature films include The Collingswood Story, Brotherhood of Blood and the documentary American Grindhouse, and in addition, he has penned the acclaimed books Minds of Fear (2005), Taboo Breakers (2008) and Jack Hill: The Exploitation and Blaxploitation Master (2009). As a film festival curator, Nutty Nigel has hosted live question and answer sessions with directors as varied as Lamberto Bava, Tobe Hooper, John Landis and Tom Savini. His study at Aberdeen is entitled Subverting the Mainstream: How the North American Exploitation Film Reflected History and Changed the Course of Hollywood Filmmaking.
