She got a big shoutout on Sound Opinions this week. I'd never heard of her, but they played a song that was to my ears a dead ringer for Liz Phair. She even had that same kind of tuneless voice.

i randomly thought about Lida Husik recently and looked to see if she'd put anything out lately -- apparently the only thing she's released since 1999 was a 2006 digital single, guess she's out of the game.

Had Joyride and My Bag long ago. Used to spin Joyride a lot. Never heard her later stuff. Great voice.
