Gee, two-hundred-odd years ago, a guy whose background shared a few characteristics with that of Bob Marley also become a Pretty Important Guy . . . who cares? (mind you, half of those characteristics are shared with the majority of people successful in the public world.) And even implying that Marley was any sort of founding father of reggae shows a distinct lack of reggae history.
