Eating condiments straight from the jar: delicious or disgusting

I just polished off half a jar of Patak's lime pickle while watching Mad Men

i will, from time to time, eat a spoonful of peanut butter; does that count? tbh tho i regard this as disgusting behavior and i try not to do it.

There's only a handful of condiments I would do it with; chutneys, pickles, maybe a nice wholegrain mustard. Certainly not ketchup or mayo.
