Coachella will be such a delight I'm sure!

My Twitter feed just exploded with people going bananas about secret M83 show tonight in West Hollywood or somewhere up in the hills.

I don't really start threads, but there should maybe be a Defend the Indefensible for people who back into parking spaces.

Spencer Chow, Thursday, 19 April 2012 05:15 (2 years ago) Permalink

I backed into my own driveway just now

Memorial Highway (admrl), Thursday, 19 April 2012 05:18 (2 years ago) Permalink

You can of course do what you like in your own driveway. I'm talking about in crowded parking lots with people waiting.

Spencer Chow, Thursday, 19 April 2012 05:22 (2 years ago) Permalink

I don't think we use "Defend The Indefensible" anymore, Spencer. Showing your age ;)

You are correct.

x-post
Dunnoh about the mermaid parade, but DooDah's been going since '78 or so. Basically a zany parade, that seems a little tamer than it used to be.

Pretty sure I have been there, and it is good, but been so long I don't remember the exact dishes I tried. I went with the LA Asian Foodies Meetup group, which I recommend for finding restaurants. Most events are in the San Gabriel Valley, Little Tokyo, and Koreatown.

Yes! It was great. You should have gone. Etc.

Fave musical part was Barbara Manning channeling Neil Young's "Arc" guitar sound. Fave part was the Dunedin pub built from scratch specifically for the show. The pho place next door was also noteworthy.

This may have been my favorite show of the week.
