The reclusive daughter of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain just released a rare public statement defending herself and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl against rumors of sexual involvement.
Love started the rumor earlier this week when she published several Tweets accusing Grohl, formerly the drummer in Nirvana, of hitting on her estranged daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Grohl, who knew Cobain when she was an infant, called the accusation “upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”
Love lashed back in an interview with the New York Daily News, saying she’s “certainly not going to retract anything.”
Then Cobain, 19, reminded us all what it must be like to have Love for a mom.
Her statement, released by Grohl’s publicist to Gawker, called the rumor “gross:”
While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.
Twitter should ban my mother.

Love stepped down as Acting Manager of End of Music LLC, the business behind Cobain's publicity rights, after receiving a $2.75 million loan from Frances's trust fund...When Love repays Frances the trust fund money, she can regain control of the publicity rights.
