haha well katy's been going on about what a genius teedra is since forever! so i have had these thoughts. it's more apparent in the songwriting, you know that deceptively casual way of phrasing something then dropping a really startlingly poetic image in the middle of it, than the singing

She’s been out of the loop since her record label went bust, and has been writing for other artists and releasing mixtapes. But you know what? I want a new album, Teedra!
