did some street theater for april fool's, a "march for the rich" where they visited their friends at the chamber of commerce, the police department, the american legislative exchange council, etc to raise a toast of thanks. "without your hard work we wouldn't own democracy!"

shortly into the march a black bloc of anarchists showed up and proceeded to "crash" each of their toasts

Thanks! It took me 15 years to get to the precise shade of Miki Berenyi that I wanted it.. but I'm also facing a large window with (this morning's) sun so it's biased.

i feel like a failed dye experiment can work if you own it, like "fuck yeah my hair is puke orange and socially unacceptable in institutions like banks and post offices, and i don't even care, similar to how a badass would respond", but instead, predictably, i would preemptively say stuff like "i was aiming for red but it came out puke orange, aw man i don't even know why you're talking to me, aw man"

anyway, total tangent but lookin' good ffm!

I had orange hair for a while because I sprayed that Sun-In bleaching spray in my hair every day for a week and stood under the heat lamp in our bathroom

the top of my head was bright orange by week's end

it was not a good look

my life in a nutshell, hah. I balance being annoyingly smug online with being desperately self deprecating in real life.

Sun-in! Amazing. I got a similar weird root situation when I bleached my hair from black to orange - the roots were white. NAGL. I have had so many hair horrors over the years. I am never changing this red, if I can help it.

Ooof, you've reminded me of the ill-advised plum brown I rocked for a while (I was one of those new colour a month kids). Terrible.

purple just never works out well on brown hair unless you bleach it white. or buy that horrible spray paint.
everyone including me that tried purple ended up with gross puce-colored large-intestine-colored hair

I played around with my color a lot for a couple years in the 90s. My favorite was bleaching it white and then putting old lady silver dye on it (not blue, SILVER). I looked pretty great for about six days until it just reverted to looking bleachy again.

hah yeah i have dark brown hair so that is probably why that happened

I did purple once after bleaching and it worked well, until the purple faded - except from the spots that were bleached twice from when I gave myself polka dots the week before. So I had bright yellow hair with purple spots. This was right before meeting my future inlaws who weren't all that into it.

Miki Berenyi - YES! I love it FFM. :) My hair isn't really blonde right now. I don't really know what color it is tbh - light brown, I guess. Anyway yours is always perfect and you look great.

Thanks all. The black shape in the middle was a spider. As one of my friends said though, it's very much a Rorschach test of a hair style!

just offering a diff take here but that is a terrible hairstyle imo.

I personally agreed and shaved it off as soon as I got home.
