yeah listening to that one right now. a perfect sound.
I know right? such a beautifully produced record - everything has this effervescent, chiming sheen to it

the only one i have is "live at carnegie hall" and while it's great i have always itched for something recorded in a proper studio
their "martha white" theme was the inspiration for prarie home companion's powdermilk biscuits iirc

Earl Scruggs Revue Live At Kansas State was the first one I bought. Good mix of trad, 40s, 50s (?) and def 60s material, incl Dylan and Joni Mitchell, plus Don Nix's good "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven" (nooobody wants to die"--always wanted ro hear Sly Stone cover that) Amazon shows it as a twofer w Dueling Banjos. Good basic description and full track list for Live... herehttp://www.allmusic.com/album/live-at-kansas-state-r108466

Edsel compilation of Earl Scruggs revue is pretty great.https://i.discogs.com/WN_reupng3ht3jz9o8ipUD3wZvq_lupSrIauHu-RrAU/rs:fit/g:sm/q:90/h:599/w:600/czM6Ly9kaXNjb2dz/LWRhdGFiYXNlLWlt/YWdlcy9SLTkzOTMw/MDEtMTQ3OTc2MDQ2/OS00MTM2LmpwZWc.jpeg
cherry picked a couple of tracks from each of the lps over 10 years. I think I might need to go and checkout the individual lps if I can get them. THis is 24 years old on Edsel and i found it on discogs after having seen the Austin City Limits featuring the band from 1975.Was looking through that show's early days because I'd found one with Ry Cooder as part of Flaco Jimenez's band
