Chaki, you have to understand that some people here have interacted with Luna for years, and probably have at least some emotional investment in her. When shit like this comes up, if it involves someone you know, I think denial is the usually first reaction. People don't generally want to believe the worst of someone they trust. So I'd think it'd be best for everyone involved to let this stuff sink in properly before hurling shit onto each other.

I mean, I don't want to defend her, but the idea she just invented a kid, then wrote about him on ILX, in her blog and everywhere else for years for seemingly no reason at all seems kinda doubtful, unless she's like totally crazy, which I also doubt.

I really can't go into details here, not for reasons of coyness but to avoid upsetting an old and dear friend, but everything that Chaki and Gear have been saying on this thread is 100% correct - if anything, they've avoided one of the most contemptible aspects of the whole sorry saga, trust me

i remember the "what do you look like in yr underwear" thread or some such - she'd posted a shot of "herself" and i was less than convinced it was actually her. or anyone that would post to ilx. i think that's what a bunch of people might be referring to.
