Hmm, OK. I chose the smallest size in the options. I should probably know at least a tiny bit about Photoshop....

I wish there were more like that one! I'm tired of a bunch of people standing frozen in time while ceiling fans spin over them.

Speaking of which, here's my latest!

pplains, Monday, 26 March 2012 15:14 (2 years ago) Permalink

lol

I'm not seeing a way to upload ones you make offline. Is there really not a way to do so?

I woke up at 5 this morning and could not go back to sleep so I played w/ Kinotopic. It took me a lot of tries before I figured out that - duh - you can choose "select all" instead of highlighting the whole picture with my fat finger.

I think to get them online, you have to go through their kinotopic site.

It took me a few go's to tell where the edit was. Endless avacado! (Or whatever that green thing is.)

pplains, Monday, 26 March 2012 20:40 (2 years ago) Permalink

broccoli!

is there a trick to making the camera shake probs less severe? other than just select all?

caek, Monday, 26 March 2012 20:53 (2 years ago) Permalink

It's really sensitive. I hit record and just put the phone down sometimes. Select All makes it less obvious.

I hit select all unless I'm really trying to get that hummingbird to freeze in midair.

I went down to a jetty tonight and lay on my stomach shooting waves hitting submerged rocks. I shot this, played w/ it, then put my phone in my pocket and apparently my pocket created it and uploaded it to FB. I wouldn't have known about it if PP hadn't liked it on FB.

There were two ducks in the waves, but I don't think they're in this pic.

That is so awesome.

I've discovered something I really hate about Kino. I've been trying to find Je55 to follow, but it only gives me three options to find a friend: suggested, Facebook or Twitter. I can't just enter Je55e's profile name and follow him from there.

Only reason I got g48080 followed is because I lucked out and saw him in the HOT section.

lol really?

Unless I'm just dense in which case they need to make it a little less denser.

pplains, Tuesday, 10 April 2012 04:29 (2 years ago) Permalink

If anyone wants to follow me, I'm here http://kinotopic.com/J5_k.

PP, I'll follow you back. gr80, I'd like to follow you as well. Anyone else OTT too.

I'm w/ pp here, I can't figure out how to follow anyone. I am dense though, so maybe it's me.

there's something very rich about how kinotopic's functionality is so terrible while ist creators obv focused so much on its ~design~

Kinotopic supposedly has this new feature where you can animate parts of the same picture at two different speeds? Not sure if it works though.

The kids are at normal speed while the cat's supposedly at 2x.

pplains, Monday, 23 April 2012 16:04 (2 years ago) Permalink

Can you believe the speed limit here is only 55 MPH? Ridiculous.

pplains, Monday, 23 April 2012 16:05 (2 years ago) Permalink

Again, not really a gif, but more like a live feed.

Kinotopic's update added some nice features. I still wish it would save the gif to the phone instead of having to upload it though! Last night I made one that I was very happy with but the data connection was terrible so it just would not upload and I had to abandon it.
