"matilda's dream" is incredible. made me cry.

It's a warm night in Brooklyn, and I have the windows wide open even though it's perhaps a little chilly for that kind of abandon. I've spent maybe five nights this entire month in NY, having been traveling a ton for work and spending five nights in Jamaica last week. I went a little crazy at Other Music today, and this record is now spinning on my turntable. Granted I'm a little drunk on a beautiful red Burgundy, but this is just AMAZINGLY lovely and delicious. The band name alone is awful.

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs are pretty good though. There's an excellent Joe Goddard mix of one of their tunes out there as well.

yeah "tapes & money" is fantastic

that F3 "lonely land" remix is so incredible - the closing melody is just gorgeous. totally always play it b2b with his own "last land"

funny, the criticism i would've made is that it's a hair's breadth from not being club music at all, it's coffee-table house

My question about how much people listened to this wasn't just a rhetorical attack btw, I just genuinely have got no real further joy from it, beyond the first week. I am settling on the idea that I need physicality to house music or it doesn't really work for me, a lot of my buzz with it is connected to exercise lately!

But I feel like I hear better stuff in this vein on Beats In Space all the time.
