"Berghain" is pretty huge I think, especially the part around 5:20 where the low bass synth plays those little riffs. dope.

"Telephone" is just ok.

I take it back, Telephone is cool too in its own way. I like the vocal. For two tracks on the same single they each have a really different feel.

Harvey in interview is awesome. I remember thinking how sound he was when mentioning not wanting to play in London because it's full of beardo hipsters waiting for him to play the wrong song and when he mixes acknowledging fucking in such a laid back, off the cuff manner.

He's been on a few times, sometimes talking more than others. The one yr probably thinking of though I rly enjoyed how he got so carried away talking to Tim that he had to change records as they'd become complete beds!

the talking in general is awful. apart from pat mahoney, he was funny.

if your radio show sets had a history of showing up as $30 bootleg CDs in Japan you might try and find creative ways to discourage that practice too ;)

whoa really? when is that? I had assumed Dekalb Market as a dance music spot was kaputt after Dog & Pony moved the Chromatics and Maxxi Soundsystem shows to other venues. I went to see Blondes there, it was pretty good.

I've seen harvey a few times, first was the basement of Centro Fly. That was a lot of fun.

Danny Wang was a big influence on me. I remember him djing at Open Air once, tiny "techno" club on St. Marks, back when there were "techno" clubs, real dot-com era, and they had all these video screens with animations on them. He played stuff like the 9 minute version of Passion by the Flirts and Zwei by Electric MInd. I still play that stuff a lot. Stuff like that and She Can't Love You by Chemise really sums up an era for me when I was first going out to like every time Morgan and Danny were djing and people were just starting to play italo again.

danny & harvey together sounds like a really fun party

I only made it to Centro Fly once before it closed. I think by the time I moved to NYC it was on its way out.
