this is now my like stock, go to sandwich that I have almost every day as I've now found a preposterously cheap italian deli. I don't think it will ever get old.

I could murder a ham + tomato bit right now.

Reading this thread last night, a little drunk, empty of belly, sent me into uncontrollable fits of MUST EAT SOMETHING RIGHT NOW and I went to the kitchen and made 3 grilled tomato/cheese toastie slices and inhaled them.

Note to self: never read this thread when drinking.

it's better than it sounds! and honestly I'd rather have a toast sandwich than most of the mayo-slathered monstrosities notated upthread.

what happens if you do the outside toast and the inside warm

for one thing you would have to toast two slices of bread

the toaster comes designed for that

I used a toaster oven. there was more than enough room to toast two slices at once. I'm just not comfortable with the idea.
