I'm a big fan of the work by Malleus collective, but I prefer their tour posters, which are not as subdued as the more tasteful albums, heh.
I voted for this one in this week's Cover Art Battle.
It's currently runner-up to this. The B&W makes it seem incomplete to me.

appreciate chantal morte and ufomammut as drawings, like in terms of technique and execution, but that's about it.
i dunno, maybe i'm being too squeamish abt the chantal morte art... it's certainly striking and memorable.
