yes! i love it but its crazy work all the time. i realised yesterday that all the sexually ambiguous mediterranean guys are actually just gay. which is nice.

But I'm sure it at least feels like you're working toward something, which is a good feeling.

At this early stage my classes seem almost too easy. I think I'm going to get my ass kicked once I get to a level where actual effort is expected.

i went to a queer archives panel on tuesday, there's an accompanying exhibit with some of those ONE issues, charles pierce's mae west moppette, lesbian softball jerseys, etc

yeah but i think you're totally gonna reap the benefit of having spent some time just learning and educating yourself. i always feel like i'm not ready for the classes i'm taking. i mean there's pros and cons obviously, i know your're gonna really love it. being out of school for a couple of years is really making me appreciate it.

also can i mention that grindr is so fn tedious.

Grindr has totally lost its appeal to me. So has sleeping around in general, for that matter. I guess my "wild youth" days are behind me :-(

Like if my boyfriend and I try to start a movie after like 10pm I will fall asleep before its over. Also I haven't slept past 8 or 9am or so in weeks. Also I got way too excited about buying a bookshelf at Ikea last week.

Oh i dunno, Grindr can be startling too- I just had the jarring experience on Grindr of a blonde, 6 foot 5 sporty n fit looking twenty year old tell me out of the blue that I was very handsome only to realize, upon closer inspection, that he was a former student of mine- he apparently didn't recognize my pic without glasses and suit and tie? I explained that I couldn't flirt with undergrads but was happy to have a friendly chat. I wouldn't file that under "tedious" but under "the one that got away" . . .
