I've been on a bit of a macaron kick since the holidays. A friend of mine raved about these so much that I had to make the trip to Beverly Hills to try them despite my hatred for driving west. I bought a dozen today around 4pm and only now at 5:45pm am I actually biting into one (Hence my hatred for driving west. Traffic blows. Hard).

HOLY DEAR LORD OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one I just tasted was Earl Grey Tea flavored. Everything about it was perfect. The beautiful box it came in. The vibrant color of the cookie. The delicate flaky exterior. The awe-inspiring burst of perfect flavors.

Okay, I'm trying Violet. ORGASM. Literally an orgasm in my mouth right now. Violet and black currant jizz (I mean jam) is rolling over my tongue right now and it is positively delightful.

Okay, last one until I eat dinner. Pistachio? My favorite flavor. Please let it be amazing... Oh Oh Oh OOOOOOOOH. Multiple O. So good!

I have to save some of these for later, I don't want to gobble them all up and be left wanting more.

SO worth the trip to Beverly Hills.

There is a reason there is a line outside the door at 1pm on a Friday. The atmosphere is odd, but the food is beyond anything you might ever expect.

You think, how great can a deli REALLY be? Let me tell you that you have not eaten pastrami until you have had Langer's #19. Pastrami, russian dressing, swiss, and slaw on warm rye bread. Maybe they lace it with orgasm inducing serum, I don't know, I've never been so pumped about a sandwich in my life.

if I am trying to eat food and it orgasms in my mouth, that is an automatic complaint to the health inspector

Much Ado About Nuttin (DJP), Wednesday, 4 January 2012 17:59 (twelve years ago) link

I officially popped my cherry today. My Langer's cherry, that is.

Mini-me and I came here for lunch. I knew before we even arrived that I would NOT be ordering the pastrami. Never really liked the stuff all that much. Don't give me that look!

Instead, my mouth watered over the #88-- Corned Beef with Swiss and SAUERKRAUT on grilled rye bread. Russian dressing on the side. Mini-me decided on the lunch special of half a Hot Pastrami with Cream Cheese. Sounds weird, but it was actually quite good.

OH MAN it was weird that I actually liked the pastrami better than the corned beef. I know corned beef is a bit salty, but not usually more than pastrami (I think). Perfectly sliced pastrami. It was, dare I say... orgasmic.

Oh my god, it was an orgasm in my mouth. I can't believe how amazing, ohhhwyyy goooey, delicious, and amazing the cookies and brownies are. We received a large basket at work that had 3 dozen mix of cookies and brownies and OMG, I can't say it enough, they were amazing. Perfectly soft, gooey, crunchy, melt in your mouth. The Heath bar brownie is literally to die for. The Chocolate chip cookies were amazing. My favorites are as follows: Caramel Pretzel- for a crunchy fun time in your mouth.

The wait is super long, which is probably one of the reasons why I gave it a 4.. I really dig their combos.. The Tuna combo is really good. The cuts of tuna are nice and not too thick.. their fish is also fresh. I like their ramen, obviously! I also love their garlic paste.. Also, their shredded pork bowl is a orgasm in my mouth. I loveeeeee that shiet yo!

Could not be happier!! After searching for the right tailor for years, I finally found this little shop and after I met the owner and saw her work, I've coming back for all my tailoring needs. She does fast work at a good price and literally works miracles. I've had pants hemmed, dresses taken in, and she even made me a really cute dress for the summer. I really could not ask for a better neighborhood tailor shop, and once you get to know Marina (the owner) you won't even dream of going anywhere else!

P.S. As if it couldn't get any better...this shop also has a little section which sells really unique clothing for women of all sizes. Shop while you wait?? Yes please!

okay, orgasmic food was bad enough, I don't think I could handle an orgasmic tailor

Have you ever had an orgasm in your mouth? According to Travis I. its called an Oralgasm...Well if you haven't....the delicious shredded pork is pretty damn near close. If they had just served me a bowl of this I would have given them five stars. It was a pleasant surprise.

First of all, this is the first Mexican food restaurant I have eaten at that did not provide at least one complimentary basket of fresh made tortilla chips (even warmed store bought out of a bad would have been OK). When I asked at the counter about chips I was told they did not come free but I could buy some if I'd like.

I ordered two beef and cheese tacos and when they called my name and I went to the counter to pick up my plate I was in for surprise #2. While the taste of these two tacos was not bad, they were the smallest tacos I have seen. They came single wrapped in soft tortilla shells and they literally left puddles in my basket as I ate them.

Like other have said, they share an odd shaped parking lot with Trader Joe's and several other smaller businesses and parking is a son of a gun. This is especially true on days like the day we were there and there was a Pepsi truck parked right out in front of the Rusty Taco unloading and delivering Pepsi ***(note to Pepsi driver....try parking your rig on the side street there next to Rusty Taco instead of in the already cramped parking lot. It will only mean an extra 10 steps or so for you and your truck won't add to the chaos of the already insane lot....just a thought).

goole, Wednesday, 4 January 2012 18:05 (twelve years ago) link

What to say about Rusty Taco...well, it's rusty alright, and lame. If you want to try it i suggest doing it soon because i don't see this place lasting too long. Yeah they have some unique tacos, but they only have 8 different kinds. And it's not like Chipotle where you can mix and match different things. You literally have 8 choices, and none of the three i tried were worth getting again. Which means i now only have a potential 5 things on the menu worth getting.

Like Kelly said, the corn tortillas suck a big fat one! If you breathe on them too hard they crumble into pieces. It almost feels like Rusty Taco is running an inside joke, laughing at all the suckers as they try to eat their tacos before their tortilla disolves.

I was disappointed with their signage regarding their salsas. I never saw anything and I got the hot salsa and when they put it in the bag i noticed it was orange. Why bother calling it hot salsa, why not just tell me it's pureed habenero?

I suppose the only saving grace is the breakfast. They aren't that great and once again the selection is slim(4 tacos), but it's better than going to any other fast food place for breakfast.

There's Something about Portos that really gets me off. I'm from northern California, and i usually visit my friends in LA or SD, but once i get off the I-5 and i reach portos, I know that ive reached my destination. I usually get in around 7am & the place is amazingly delish. The best part of the whole establishment. Horchata smoothies. Yup, you got that shit right. HORCHATA, Rice water mixed with cinnamon, blended with ice. Bam! Orgasm explosion in your facehole.

The valet parking was cheap and the waitress/waiter was really friendly
and attentive. For once, a restaurant has satisfied me from start to finish..
Okay let's get on the yummy details :-
I had their turnip soup (I was very skeptical at first... Turnip?) but it turns out to be the best soup ever!!! I also had their duck and liver pate (cold appetizer.. Its so good i almost ate the plate.. And for entrée I have their
duck... Its so crispy and good with some orange sauce.....the food here is like getting orgasm in your mouth!

"This is a horrible restaurant. I had the walleye there, and it was very poorly done. It was far too heavily spiced. My friend had a pot pie, which she said was also bad and undercooked. I also ordered red potatoes that tasted like rubber. Please do not go to this restaurant."

Honestly, what is WITH the long line?!?

A crowd attracts a crowd, I get it... but seriously, it is SO not worthy.

A long wait + rushed service + food that is okay, but I could make in my own kitchen for a LOT less = my most recent dining experience at Zaftigs.

I left totally unimpressed wanting to spread the word to the poor souls waiting outside to check out another place right down the street... how about the Paris Creperie or Mike's.

I will NOT be returning or waiting again. Completely OVERRATED!

http://m5.paperblog.com/i/11/114128/the-year-in-revolution-and-riot-from-arab-spr-L-Zmg_s2.jpeg

We went here a few days after Christmas for a special family dinner. My family of 4 asked for recommendations from the concierge at Cosmopollitan and she suggested this restaurant. We made reservations to go after our Michael Jackson show at 9PM.

From the minute we showed up and were seated at a circular table towards the center of the dining area we were immediately disappointed. It took our waiter at least 5 minutes before they even acknowledged us. My mom had time to go to the bathroom and come back and still we waited. When our waiter finally came my dad was very irritated- we were all ravenous and grumpy. When the waiter read off the specials he did so with an aire of complete elitism and arrogance. It put our whole table off and we immediately commented on his attitude of complete boredom with us. He read off the specials quickly slurring his words and not making eye contact. From there the whole tone of the dinner was set.

for a franchise of Macaroni Grill

We loved their chicken soup and the Lamb Spedini. They took both off their menu recently. Too bad - that was the reason my family went there to begin with. Had their pasta dishes - not the kind of sauces I prefer. Classy atmosphere. Snobby waiter staff - they forget that THEY are the one making minimum wage - and that THEY are the one working for their TIP, and THE CUSTOMER should be made to feel COMFORTABLE and at HOME. We enjoyed sitting close to the open kitchen and watch the chef cook our meal. If they get the lamb spedini and chicken soup back on their menu, we may come back. But next time I will put the WAIT STAFF in line when they talk down to us. Maybe the management will read this and give their staff a little ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.

I ordered the Tuesday night special sausage sampler; you can tell a LOT about a German restaurant by the sausages they serve, and considering they come from a place called Deutchland Meats, you'd think they'd be great. Yeah, not so much. Somehow some of my sausages were simultaneously cold AND burned, and one of the "authentic" sausage selections was a jalapeno-cheese brat (!).

wow sizzler has changed since i been a kid. back then they had an all you can eat with things from fries to nuggets and seafood fried hot appetizers. that was early 90s

Back in 2009, the service here sucked. Well the waitress was helpful. Food was disgusting and the all you can salad bar and hot appetizer was dreadful.
