Anyway I was just reading a book about flop musicals so the spirit moved me. An amusing bit from the section on the eighties musical Baby:

The takedown of Peter Allen was good too. I remember seeing him on Solid Gold of all things when I was ten or so and wondering who the ungainly goof getting up and dancing around in front of his piano was, since I had hadn't heard any of his songs ANYWHERE.

i was ready to be all queer about Confessions, b/c it really was totally hot, but i'm not so sure about this. i feel a hesitance. i've been having some anti-mad feelings that are disturbing me.

but i haven't heard the new one yet.

there is something so annoying about the cliched "let's bond over the goddessness of madonna cuz we're gay" bit isn't there?
