(I was sorting out mum's and dad's books several months ago -- gathering them into piles from bookcases all over the house* -- and I just started boxing them up, and noticed that I had two completely piles, ostensibly an Austen and a Bronte, but each pile was an equal mix of both.)

^^^Yes haha I worked out as I sorted the piles out that THAT was the actual confusion I was making, plus JA's Emma w/Emily Bronte (the Bronte pile was all three Brontes, tho obv that's minly Charlotte).
