well every other song on urban radio now has that stilted, stomping clap/snare rhythm

one of the songs to really predict that trend was soulja boy's "donk," which nicki used for one of her biggest early mixtape tracks, so it kinda makes sense that she sounds in her element doing stuff like this and "dance (a$$)" i guess.

I would love to see those two toddlers from Ellen doing this.

the thing i like about this is that the insults are kind of understatedly bizarre -- "you lookin like a lab rat", starting off the second verse by addressing the other person as if they're actually bubbles the monkey, "who's gassin this ho? BP?" -- idk it goes pretty hard, and isn't all grocery bag'd up like "did it on em"
