I haven't heard the Hammersmith one yet but I was at that gig and it was fantastic.

There were a couple of middle aged dudes by me right at the front who were clearly E'd out of their heads. They'd dance really manically to each song but every time Coleman said something apocalyptic one of them would say, 'Can I have an E please Bob?*' in a strangulated voice and his mate would start giggling in a slightly nervous way.

It was pretty funny. It looked like they were having an intense night. I might have an E next time I go and see them.

*Contestant catchphrase on UK quiz show that got sampled on a novelty rave record from late 80s

oh that's a shame, they were amazing here a couple of months ago. mostly played stuff off the (great) new album and it was pretty impressive to see everyone being super into it. hot fucking gig though, three songs in and i looked like a man who had just fallen into a swimming pool.
