Very Bad Things was very bad, but Slater himself was OK. He's been the OK thing about a few lousy movies.

as someone who had never heard of the Legend of Billie Jean and had to sit through it as an adult when his wife insisted on salvaging it from the $1 bin somewhere... that movie is terrible. And I am usually a BIG fan of teensploitation/kids gone wrong movies. The funniest part is when her midget sidekick (future voice of Bart Simpson) gets her first period.

other than that... um, FAIR IS FAIR what a slogan

anyway Heathers in a walk. I love Pump up the Volume as a 15 yo but oof saw it a few years later in college and was appalled.

Gleaming the Cube is only the greatest film of all time.

Tnotr and UH are marginally more presentable than Putv and especially Heathers, but it's probably easier to defend the former's scenery-chewing over the lumpen characters of the latter.

I forgot he was in tucker, a movie I liked lots at the time and haven't seen since

Gleaming the cube, def. What was the one where he had a monkey heart? That was about as spectacular as Bed of Roses.

Totally has to be Pump Up the Volume, tho a younger gother me would have said Heathers.

Monkey heart? This had to make things harder for every teenager who had to get heart surgery at the time. (The man was showing me some post-heart-surgery pamphlet that said "Your friends may ask if you have a monkey heart now." Yikes.)

I WILL FITE YOU

Also, Yeardly Smith voices Lisa Simpson. You call yourself a Simpsons fan?! Anyway, I just watched it again last night for the 100th time or so and it's still as good as ever.

one year passes...

A documentary, I'd guess:
