i have to say though, i had a job a year or so back where copies of kerrang were always around the office, and i was both totally surprised and not surprised at all that one of the Worst DNB Acts of All-Time had transmogrified themselves into linkin park 2.0

the Pendulum link would make sense to me, I can imagine yr Kerrang metal-listening teen digging Skrillex with Pendulum being your natural point in between. But I have no idea if that metal -> brostep continuum really exists, in the UK at least. And have only heard of Skrillex through here and HRO.
