Waaay xpost here...I didn't think this thread was worth reading cause I've been over Deadmau5 for a long time but I'm bored and here I am.
i can see bassnectar being "all lcd" if you never regularly listened because you think he's all brostep and whatnot (and maybe he is all that now) but pre-that he was great funk + breakbeat party along the lines of the bassbin twins.
I can remember trying to point this out here a long time ago, before I was fully aware of Bassnectar's recent crappiness, and being hated for saying it. I don't know about his mixes or anything but the Yoga Tai Chi Parties at Cellspace were quite alright. Scoff if you must, but I'm pretty sure there was Chai tea there as well.
