actually, i kind of think that the Katy perry video and song are hands-down the stupidest thing i've seen/heard all year, and thus i love them without restraint. especially when she asks "IS THIS A HICKEY OR A BRUISE." or "I SMELL LIKE A MINI-BAR."

I grew to love Friday, have fuzzy but somewhat positive memories of the second single. This one is really terrible, though. How many other artists turned this turd down before it got to her?

"Friday" was/is actually catchy and fascinating and was joyously stuck in my head for two weeks. All of the obvious copycats trying to recapture the magic are predictably failing hugely.
