oh man i wish i were still swim racing

i know right? i quit after like 10th grade and now i wish i'd kept at it. not that i'd be an olympian, but just for fitness and to have a 'thing'. i think a good swimming workout is amazing for mental health.

Swimming is one of those exercises that is just incredibly exhausting, but still fun. Also, it makes me super hungry.

sweating while wet/in water is pretty funny.

can someone find out for me if nz has won any medals? i'm too lazy to search this info out ;)

Finished watching Ballet Russe tonight; it was good, but probably not super interesting to anyone who isn't already wanting to watch stuff about ballet and ballet history. The dancers they interviews were quite the characters, though.

sara i do not know exactly what it's called but there's a really awesome documentary from pbs about recreating nijinksy's original choreography for the rite of spring (and also about the rite of spring and stravinksy).

also, thanks! now awaiting the dreaded response email but whatever it will be over in 2 weeks anyway! and i just realized that he gets back tues night, but is flying to san diego on thursday so i will only have to deal w/ him for like 1.5 days.

Congrats as well on the notice. This is my last boring-ass week. My boss just sent out a very strained "congratulations" notice to the rest of our department. Tough cookies. To top it all off the client who effectively ran me off with her beeeyyatttchi-ness asked to be on the selection committee for my new replacement. Ha!
