(I went with Kids Zone.)

I escaped the Cincinnati airport about 10 hrs after entering it. Delta did put us in hotels, but not until we'd been waiting for over 4 hours.

For someone who isn't really a fan of flying, I LOVE airports. Hi. I'm in an airport.

i got a flat tyre on the drive in, didn't make it to el paso until late o' clock, not enough sleep, now my flight out is delayed and i have like 8 minutes to make my connection at o' hare. what a couple of days!

also i forgot my book by the swimming pool. admittedly it was so hot it had fallen to bits, but i only had ~50 pages to go :-(

also CNN is terrible!

I was in an airport this morning, had already checked in online, didn't need to check bags, just wanted to print the boarding pass. Looking around for the self-service kiosks you're meant to be able to use and they were at the desks, kind of underneath, exactly where people are checking in etc, and at the end of the huge queue. Turns out it's ok to use them but it's not clear and really weird to just sail past the queue and push aside the people who're already at the desks, just to print the boarding pass.

Haven't been in San Jose Airport for almost twenty years and already it's my new favorite airport, period.

that said, i'm in the oakland airport. just finished my pre-flight beer. ready to sit back with the NYT and read about the quiddities and agonies.

I had to show my passport/boarding pass to no less than 5 people to board my flight at LHR...yet somehow it was a very efficient, respectful process that didn't make me feel like crying.

i get to Nashville almost 2 hours late for my connecting flight because of bad weather in Philly, and the next flight i can get is (gasp) at 5:35 pm, meaning i would get into Oakand at 11 pm, and so i just went calmly and politely to the service desk and asked whether there was any way i could get to any airport in the Bay Area before 9 pm....and lo, the woman said, "this flight to my left is going to Denver, and then to San Francisco," and within 5 minutes i was on a moving plane. i tell ya, sometimes shit really works out okay! i'm now in my favorite airport in the US, drinking beer and smoking cigarettes, and molesting this free wi-fi.

Having arrived in San Jose when I did, I then immediately left for Monterey and Carmel.

Long beach is officially the shittiest airport I've ever set foot in.

I think there is about 500 ft btw security and the exit, with a gate in between!

I was in an airport, CDG, and that was the closest I've come to missing a flight ever (delayed connecting train). Amazed my luggage made it with me.

i'm in an airport. they're playing the police's "man in a suitcase" over the PA.

my chauffeur boyfriend dropped me off several hours early, and jetblue won't let me check my bag until 7 (it's 4:30 now). wondering if it's a security measure or if they just don't want to run the risk of losing the bag. either way, i'm sitting in the waiting area, lamenting the lack of outlets.

now they're playing heaven 17's "penthouse and pavement"! hippest airport ever.

Flying Southwest for the first time ever. Slightly worried, since my seat numbering thing is a fairly high number on the second tier and I dont sit well in the bitch seat.

Fortunately, I loaded up on Batmang at the library on the way here, so's I got enough to read on the way to Denver.
